iRemoco iPhone-controlled helicopter shop now open!

11th August 2011

Ternosis, a UK-based technology startup company, today announced the launch of their UK shop, the first in the world to offer iPhone, iPod touch and iPad controlled helicopters with a universal App.

Tom Sisterson, Co-Founder of Ternosis stated, "Ever since the success of our Kickstarter.com project, in which we delivered 300 helicopters to over 200 Backers, we've been inundated with questions about when iRemoco will be available to the public. Today, we're pleased to announce the wait is over, and you can now buy an iPhone controlled helicopter at www.iremoco.com."

iRemoco works using a Controller that attaches to your iPhone, iPod or iPad. With the free iRemoco App from iTunes, you can fly the iRemoco helicopter using on-screen 3D joysticks or motion control. By tilting your iPhone, the helicopter responds accordingly, offering the most intuitive and fun way to fly. The iRemoco Controller comes with a rechargeable battery, so it doesn't drain your iPhone battery. The iRemoco Helicopter also has a rechargeable battery, and is constructed with a metal frame and flexible plastic rotors and landing gear for extra strength and durability.

Andrew Ayres, Co-Founder of Ternosis stated, ,"We've found that most users love the motion control best - it's a new, fun and intuitive way to fly helicopters that even beginners get very quickly. The feedback from our Kickstarter Backers has been incredible, and we're proud to be the first shop in Europe offering this kind of product. Smartphones and tablet computers like the iPad are opening up new ways of interacting with toys and games."

The iRemoco Controller and Helicopter bundle is available at www.iremoco.com for £59.99. This price includes the iRemoco Controller, a gyro-stabilized helicopter, USB charger, spare rotors and User Manual."
