About Ternosis

In 2009 Andrew Ayres and Tom Sisterson co-founded Ternosis Ltd to develop iRemoco, an iOS remote control technology for toys based on infra-red control. Development of prototypes continued throughout 2010, which were tested by Apple as part of Ternosis' participation in the Apple Made for iPod program.

In late January 2011, Ternosis obtained full production-ready certification under Apple's Made for iPod program. In March 2011, Andrew and Tom opened Ternosis Incorporated in the US, and finalised plans for launch. In early May 2011, iRemoco was launched as a project on Kickstarter.com, a crowd-funding website and innovative way to raise the required funds for manufacture.
